Management at Post Lindbergh appears to have been trained to use every legal advantage they possess to milk money out of their tenants while providing the barest minimum of service.
For example, if you get the $200 bonus for referring a friend to live there -- expect at least $400 in spurious "charges" after you move out ("re-painting," "cleaning," etc.).
Don't take Post management's word at face value for ANYTHING. Get everything in writing. This will save you the headache of taking them to court later, or will at least give you evidence to use in your defense after they try to take advantage of you. Photograph everything in the presence of witnesses. When you move out, do a walkthrough and get management to sign off on the wallpaint and the cleaning. Bring your lawyer, and at least two witnesses (including a notary public if available).
