Customer service is terrible. Apartments are very over-priced -not at all competitive with other apartment communities in the immediate area that are more modern, with better amenities and services. Apartments are located right next to the MARTA trains that go by frequently. VERY noisy. You will not sleep. You will need drugs to help you do that. Parking is very inconvenient. The walking distance from your apartment to wherever you get to park can be quite miserable when dealing with inclement weather. You may be forced to wait out a storm before you can walk the 1/2 mile trek to and from your vehicle. You will also have to make a 1/2 mile trek to throw out your trash as well, or simply leave it to pile up in front of your door (as many residents do) until you are ready to "walk the mile" to the one (1) trash compactor on site, OR tuck it in your car and drive it over (you'll want to consider that during inclement weather). Others report here that safety was a big issue, though it shouldn't be, because after putting every applicant through a 2 day criminal/background check and charging a hefty $200 per person to do so, safety should be the least of any resident's concern. DO NOT drive by the other apartment communities in the immediate areas to call Post Lindbergh your home.

I live at Post Lindbergh (just signed my 3rd lease) and coincidentally I also used to work in the apartment industry, though not in a leasing capacity. With that said it is painfully clear that the above review was written by someone who works for another community in the area. An average consumer would not say that Post Lindbergh is "not at all competitive with other apartment communities in the area" and that "there are other communities in the immediate aera that are more modern, with better amenities and services." That's total b.s and so so obvious..... The "luxury community" at the corner of Garson and Piedmont is a poorly constructed crap property with paper thin walls and far higher rents than Post. I looked at it--I could hear the phone ringing in an adjacent apartment! The new community across the street from Post at the Lindbergh City Center is partial assited living (so people paying 1100 for an apartment get to live next door to a family of four paying 600--yay! no thanks!) And if you live at the City Center community you also get to listen to thugs outside yelling, fighting, playing football, etc all night long). If Post Lindbergh were so horrible I wouldn't continue to renew my lease but I do so obviously it's not a bad place to live. Is parking a pain? Yes. Do I enjoy taking my trash to the dumpster? No. Is there trash left outside doors? No. If you do it once management leaves a note on your door. If you continue they hit you with a huge fine you. Therefore people very rarely leave trash outside their doors Does management suck? No. I have had concerns about certain issues and once wrote the corporate office about something. I was inundated with phone calls and letters from concerend post executives wanting to make hte situation right. I've never experienced customer service as good as I get from Post and I've lived in many different communities in Atlanta that were managed by other companies. Please don't post about Post Lindbergh unless you actually live there--it's obvious that you don't.

I am fairly new to Post Lindbergh. There are few problems that I have noticed; One is that the gates doesn't close immediately once the car/s has/have entered, because of this there are other car/s tailgating to enter in the community. That doesn't look secure to me. Second, there is no gaurd on duty at most of the time after 5pm. Trash being left outside the doors: Yes, I have noticed that there are some people doing that. I can drop a building name and you may see for yourselves... Thin walls/floors: Yes, I can hear footsteps all the time while inside my apartment. But it is okay.. Long walks: Yes, but I don't mind this because walking is healthy whether it is cold or not (trying to make it sound better) (and I am not used to cold weather) The community is peaceful, so far. I haven't encountered any parties in the building that I live in. People mind their own business here. So all in all post lindbergh is nice =)
