We have lived here for just over a month now and I have been very impressed. I was a little concerned that being right between the train tracks and the Marta tracks would cause a lot of noise.Yes, you can hear the trains go by, but they very rarely blow their horns. I find that the noise to me is NOT as annoying as living on a street where there are constant sirens and cars/motorcycles with very loud exhaust or stereos. As for hearing your neighbors, come on people in every multifamily building you can hear your neighbors! There is only sheet rock, insulation and wood between the walls and floors, not sound proof insulation. You might find this annoying if you have never lived in an apartment You should also use this as a reminder that people can hear you too, so be courteous! If you experience an excessive amount of noise during "quite hours" I would suggest calling management. I currently work for management in a high-priced mid-rise in Atlantic Station, where even though you shell out big bucks for a nice trendy place to live, you still hear your neighbors walking around! Another thing people have to realize is that the trash removal charge is divided up among residents on a monthly basis, if there were two dumpsters you would be charged twice as much and then complain about that too. Safety, no one can guarantee your safety! You are responsible for yourself and your property! No matter where you live or park your car, you should never leave items of value sitting in your car, you are just asking for it to be stolen! I had never seen gates that have an arm that goes down before the gate shuts, I think it is a wonderful idea! Face it, these gates are as good as it gets! I was very impressed with the office staff from the start, they have been very friendly and helpful. Being in property management myself I have had a lot of questions that the staff were happy to answer. We have had a couple maintenance issues that were taken care of the same day that I requested them, that to me is great customer service! I would most definitely recommend this property to my friends or anyone I knew was looking.

As far as safety goes... yes you do need to take care of your own belongings (like not leave valuable items laying in your car), but it's hard to protect your car from being stolen! There have been THREE auto thefts in the past two months!
And how can you protect yourself from arson?! My roommate and I were forced to evacuate our building one evening - the hallways, which are open air, were filled with smoke! The only way I found out what happened was to call the office and ask. People who live in different buildings probably have no idea what happened.
Also, the gates are worthless - I've seen cars and vans follow people in and the gate just pops back up! Whenever someone tries to follow me in I go as slow as I can in hope that the arm will come down after me, but it never does!
