Before we moved into POST Lindbergh we were very impressed with the leasing staff. They were friendly, kind and quick to answer any questions or concerns that we had. They promised us that all the definciencies found in our townhome would be fixed before we moved in. They were not. Our front porch had two loose tiles and one of them was also cracked. The kitchen floor tiles were also loose and one in front of the stove was (and still is) warped and is painful if stepped on with stocking feet. The townhome was still dirty when we moved in. The leasing staff did have another cleaning crew return and the end result was mediocre at best. I had to clean the mini blinds, ceiling fans, window ledges and baseboards myself. When the maintenance man finally came to our town home to fix our front porch his first attempt was miserable. He just slapped some caulking between the loose and broken tiles. He did such a sloopy job that I insisted he return to redo everything. Weeks went by and he finally returned. He replaced the broken tile with a different color tile and left a drippy, awful mess when he left. Our front porch still looks like crap. At this point I just view it as a reflection of the low level of pride POST has for their own properties and not a reflection on me and my family. Our floor has never been repaired. When the contractors arrived and determined that the tiles would need to be replaced the leasing staff said "no" and told us that we had to down grade to low grade, crappy vinyl flooring. We refused and the work was never done. We were also promised new countertops BEFORE we moved in and that never happened. We did have it scheduled to be done after our move in, but with the track record the leasing staff established with us, we decided to keep the damaged and ugly kitchen countertops.

In addition to being unsatisfied with the maitenance staff and the quality of the work they perform we are also very disaapointed with the over all attitude of the leasing staff toward the residents. When we complained about all the definciencies in our townhome we were told by the manager in the leasing office that we are renters and we are expected to accept definciencies. WHAT'''' I have never been treated so terribly in all my life. I informed this manager that I choose to rent because I am in the Army and do not want to make Georgia my home (because as we all know, when in the military you move every few years). I am also an Officer in the military and have been a home owner in the past. I choose to rent at this point in my life and do not appreciate some leasing office manager telling me in her own particular way that I am a second class citizen because I rent.

The straw that broke the camels back happened this past week when our water heater began to leak. We discovered that our water heater was leaking after I took a cold shower at 6AM on Wednesday morning and then proceeded to call emergency maintenance to find out what was the problem. The maintenance employee told us we needed our heater replaced and that he wouldn't be back until Friday because he was short on staff. On this particular day my teenage daughter was home alone sleeping and not feeling well. We returned home from work on Wednesday to find our garage door wide open and a stranger (contractor) working alone in our home to replace our water heater. WHAT'''' No notice to us, and no POST employee anywhere to be found. My teenage daughter also had no idea there was a strange man in our home while she slept. When I called the President of POST to voice my anger and frustration I was yelled at by his assistant. She told me that the maintenance man was there solving my problem and what was I complaining about. YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME''''' These people here at POST Lindbergh couldn't care less about their tenants. NO courtesy, no respect, and no professionalism. The maintenance employee even lied and said that he was present the entire time the contractor was in our home. Well, when we arrived home early he as no where to be seen. Along with no courtesy, respect or professionalism, this crew also lacks integrity.

With all of these problems we have experienced we have not once been compensated for any of our frustrations. This place is horrible. Before I lived here at POST Lindbergh I lived across town near POST Garden Apartments and was never treated like this. Whenever I had a serious situation at my previous residence I was treated respectfully and the maintenance crew responded quickly and professionally.

This morning (Saturday) our main toilet in our townhome quite flushing. I looked inside the tank and the plastic handle that connects the flushing mechanism is broken. We called the leasing office and they said that because we have a second toilet upstairs (my daughter's bathroom) we can wait until Monday for a repairman. WHAT'''' Good thing there isn't a fecal matter floating in the broken toilet.

I beg prospective renters to stay far, far away from POST Lindbergh. This place is the worst place I have ever lived.

I would say that your expectation is unrealistic and you need to find another place of residency. Some of your concerns are petty and ultimatly you are a tenant. That is not 2nd class, but you are not the ower.
