Upon moving to Post Lindbergh, the staff was friendly and courteous. However, during the 3 years we lived at Post Lindbergh there were staff changes which we believe contributed to the decline in services. An example is our treatment by the office staff. The staff was discourteous and rude during the process of terminating our lease. First of all they don t provided tenants with an exit checklist. We clean the apartment per their instructions: deep cleaning is not necessary. At the walk through we were told that we may be charged a minimal amount for any carpet spots and paint. We later received a letter stating that we owed them for the replacement of the carpet! We immediately contacted Post Lindbergh and spoke with the manager. She was rude and unhelpful and told us that regardless of our concerns the matter would be sent straight to collections. We have never encountered a situation where management failed to discuss the matter with an open mind and helpful attitude.
In addition to the treatment by the staff, the complex has security issues as well. Over the years there were countless break-ins. Upon each break the staff handled the issue by sending out the same generic letter to each resident. They never followed up on how the issues were resolved. During our last year Post Lindbergh began providing a daytime security guard. This in our opinion defeated the purpose because most break-ins occur at night.
Until the staff of Post Lindbergh reevaluates their treatment and policies regarding tenants and security, we do not recommend renting from this property.

About the security guard... as a current resident, we encountered a "suspicious person" one evening. Not knowing how to handle the situation, my roommate spoke to the office the next day. We asked if they had night time security and they said no, since most incidences occur during business hours (10am-6pm)- likely story!
In the past two months we've received the generic letter about THREE AUTO THEFTS!! And we never got a letter about the "possible arson." The only reason we know about the fire was because it was in our building and we had to evacuate - I had to call the office two days later to find out what happened!
