Great location, but loud and expensive From: enigma83 Date posted: 12/29/2005 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005   The location is amazing if you want to be in the heart of midtown. The interior of my unit is nice, with stained concrete floors and very high ceilings. The outside of the complex is kept up nicely, but the parking deck and stairwells need better trash cleanup. Noise from neighbors is not generally a problem, however street noise is bad. Fire trucks constantly flying by with sirens blaring, and Blakes can be loud at times. As for the rent, I find that the rent is really high, especially the additional water, sewer and trash charges that are added onto the base rent amount each month, in my case it is about 6% of my base rent. When my lease expires, I will likely start looking for another complex. If the rent was not so high then I would probably stay.
