Post Renaissance is the most reasonably priced complex in Midtown and I have thoroughly enjoyed living here. The staff is terrific (especially David), and they have absolutely spoiled me! The units are outstanding as well, with great floor plans and gorgeous skyline views. The grounds are very well maintained, and the underground covered parking is fantastic (especially if you drive a convertible). There is plenty of parking, even during Music Midtown, as the staff hires extra security and provides parking passes during the festival (but no free tickets to Music Midtown, sorry!)

I've lived in 2 different apartments here, and if you can get one of the townhome-style units...jump on it! These are more expensive, but well worth it, since they have such a fabulous layout.

Noise can be an issue, particularly during Music Midtown, but if you join in on the fun, it's much easier to take! Just be aware that the complex is literally in the center of the festivities, and most residents either invite friends to stay the weekend and have fun with it or they leave town for the weekend. During the rest of the year, only typical city noise (sirens, etc.) is evident, and closing the windows will take care of it. I've never heard a peep from any of my neighbors, most likely due to the solid construction of the units.

The complex is VERY dog friendly as well, with a dog walk and "poop-scoop" bags provided in strategic areas. The leasing office staff keep dog treats in their desks, in case you need to stop by while walking your dog.

Safety has NEVER been an issue, and some residents leave the tops down on their convertibles overnight without a problem. There is a homeless shelter about 3 blocks away, but it is not a problem at all. Occasional panhandling does occur, but if you can't handle this, I wouldn't recommend urban living at all.

In summary, it just doesn't get any better, especially for the convenience and location (minutes from everywhere).
