Post Renaissance, on 400 Central Park Place, is the most unprofessional, disorganized, belligerent apartment community my friends and I have ever come across.
AVOID IT! Do NOT RECCOMEND IT! DO NOT MOVE THERE!
They asked me to share this with you..
We have been living at Post Renaissance for 10 months, and over that time have been belittled and even yelled at numerous times by the office staff.
The office staff has lost our rent check and then blamed us, torn off the entire face of our building for severe water damage, without sufficient notice, not followed through on maintenance requests until the 3RD call and in general has showed very little interest in the welfare of their residents.
We were beaten up and robbed by 3 men, outside Post Renaissance at 9pm on Sunday night. All our keys, gate cards, checkbook with address and phone # on it and wallets were stolen, among other things.
When the "On-Call" maintenance man was paged by the answering service, it took 45 minutes for him to call back. After saying that he was not going to come out that night to change the locks (as, granted, it says in the lease), he then said the reason why was because he lived an hour away and he was "scared"! When asked if the come out the next morning (Memorial Day) he started cursing and hung up!!!!
The Post Renaissance "Courtesy Officer", when paged by the answering service, did not respond for 3 1/2 HOURS!! It was the Courtesy Officer at my friends building, 3 blocks away, who responded, called an ambulance and filed a report (responding in 10 mins. no less)!
On Tuesday, when the office opened, we went in to talk to them. We were lectured and then YELLED AT by the Assistant Manager. When we explained that we just wanted to move out and put all of this behind us... the Assistant Manager said "Well... what do you want ME to do about it'!"
Needless to say....
Do not put yourself through the irony of paying a lot of money to be insulted, demeaned and ignored.
AVOID POST RENAISSANCE.
