Excellent Apartment

I moved from Atlanta a year ago and really miss my home at Post Renaissance. The staff and neighbors were really great. I enjoyed the pool scene and met a lot of great people. With the security gates and guard on patrol, I always felt safe, even though it is in the heart of midtown. It goes without saying that the location can't be beat...it is a two minute drive to Piedmont Park and the Highlands, about 2 blocks to Publix and Wallgreens, and maybe 20 minutes to the airport. My apartment had an incredible skyline view and was very well insulated so utility bills were low, and I could never hear my neighbors at all. An added plus was the garden area, where you could reserve a plot and grow your own vegetables. Also anyone familiar with Post knows about their landscaping. It is an experience just to walk around the grounds and admire all the plantings, with the high rise buildings as a backdrop. I took some incredible pictures which are now my computer wallpaper.
I've since moved back to the northeast to be closer to family and I see how good I had it at Post. I'm in an area with few other apartment complexes, so there is ZERO customer service and the rent is outrageous. The neighbors are absolute TRASH and the walls are thin so I hear everything, and the windows are drafty...and this is brand new construction!! It's the nicest complex for miles and I feel like I'm in a ghetto. I'm in the process of buying a house and am counting the days til I move out of this place.
Post has an annual customer satisfaction survey, and it was clear that the staff was measured very closely by upper management against these surveys. Their customer service, as well as the performance of their maintenance team, was just extraordinary. I would HIGHLY recommend Post Renaissance. If I were still single and living in Atlanta, I can't think of any place I'd rather live.
