I love living at post renaissance if i decide to forget the evil female dogs that work there. The women in the front office may be good to look at but they are the rudest people once you sign the lease. They are nice and all smiles until you sign the contract and they will treat you like a 5 year old. I am not some old person just complaining about every little thing, i am a female in my 20's and i have never been treated the way these women treat me. its not just me I have spoken to many people around the complex they truly have no issues other than the fact that for the amount of money that you pay the appliances are from the 1950's, also very very very pricy. But the women in the leasing office are the ultimate spit in your face. i pay so much for this apt and i expect at least a little respect. these women from the just the standard leasing rep. to the managers are all a**holes. if you call with a complaint or question theymake you feel like you are back in 3rd graade and you need to be in time out for even asking a question. move to post if money truly isnt an issue, water and sewage has sky rocketed!!!!! the water bills are up to 65 dollars now so dont be fooled by cheap utilities. also parking sucks really bad! other than all of this it is great, there are break ins but you really feel like you are living outside the city and you have peace and quite until you call the leasing office. move here but dont you dare have a complaint or a question for the leasing office.

Dear Anonymous- We receive notification anytime an Apartmentratings.com user comments on our property, so I wanted to take this opportunity to address your concerns. In response to your statement about the increase in your water bill, the City of Atlanta is responsible for this increase in rates. Post does not have any control over the price of water and sewer or any other utilities. Please visit the City of Atlanta Department of Watershed website for more information. In regards to your other comments, I am disappointed to hear that you feel this way about our staff. I have not received any complaints of this nature about our staff, but I welcome a meeting with you to discuss any particular incident that has caused you to feel so strongly.

Only in Atlanta are customers treated like employees. That rudeness is the common reflex of stupid people; you probably asked a question they couldn't handle. You're going to have to dumb it down for them to feel comfortable enough to be civil towards you. Talk very slowly, smile, and don't use a lot of big words. It's the only way to get your needs met without their reptilian brains exploding. Good luck.

Dear Anonymous,
How rude can you be? I didn't know that this website was to criticize how someone who works in the leasing office looks. Grow up. I have lived at Post Renaissance for almost 4 years now and I think that the staff here is superior to any other apartment complex that I have ever lived in. The staff is always nice and courteous and I feel like they really care about their residents. What other place have you ever lived at that when you walk into the leasing office they know you by name and what apartment number you live in? Maybe you need to consider YOUR behavior and what you might have done to perceive things as you have. Have you ever heard that "you get what you give"? Maybe when you act immature you get treated like you are. As far as speaking to neighbors around the property who have complaints, I find that hard to believe. I speak to many residents on a daily basis and at functions throughout the complex and they love living here. There are many residents that have lived her for 10 years and that is rare in an apartment complex. Yeah the rent prices are on the higher end but what do you expect, you live in the city limits of a major metropolitan city! Also that is why your water and sewer is high. Post has nothing to do with that though. For over a year now our mayor has been talking about how she was forced to raise water and sewer rates because she was mandated to do so by the federal government. If you want to blame someone for these rates blame the City of Atlanta and all of its mismanagement during past years. I do agree with you that the appliances need to be upgraded and the leasing staff has been pushing for the corporate office to upgrade them. As much as our properties management team would like upgrades they have to be approved by Post's upper management. If you want to complain about the appliances complain to the corporate office. On this note, I have shopped around and if you want newer appliances you could move to another complex nearby but you will pay more in rent. Personally I think that the superior staff and safety here is worth staying, the location is a major plus too. You mentioned break-ins in your posting. Break-ins happen anywhere, even in small towns. Usually the cars that are broken into have valuables left out in the open in the car. Post does have an Atlanta city policeman on our property and they also have a security company that patrols the grounds at night. Parking IS NOT bad here! There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the buildings and below them in the covered parking garage. NEVER once in all the time that I have lived here have I or a guest not been able to park. In closing it really sounds to me like you will never be happy here so maybe you do need to move and make way for someone who will enjoy such a great property.

I have lived here since August '08. I have had two problems with my place. Both were fixed within 24 hours. Also, when I go in the leasing office they know my name, ask me about work (knowing the specific company I work for) and are always very friendly. As far as prices go, this is the cheapest place I found in the city for what I was looking for. Perhaps it's your piss poor attitude that's the problem.

I'd bang a few a chicks in the front office, except they know where I live so that could be issue.

It's too weird how there are so many responses disagreeing with any neutral to negative review about this place. I won't even look at these apartments. Management needs to stay off these boards, it makes you look bad that you are spending time hanging around apartment ratings and tends to make the complex look worse than the original review did. Just my opinion, but I know I'm not the only one creeped out by this.

i agree with sherae915, I am looking for an apartment and the nasty and lengthy attitude management tends to spit back at negative comments makes me CERTAIN the original comments are true. Mature office staff know that when you are doing your job there is always going to be someone pissed off, but there is no need to act immaturely as your coutnerparts do when you know you are right. Further more, maybe read the posts with a little comprehension, the poster clearly just mentions breakins, not complains. This is too much management should be handling resident concerns, not rebuttaling negative reviews on this site. Pass!!!

I think that it is disappointing that tenants use these forums to retaliate against someone who is, obviously, just doing their job. I've always said "don't judge someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes". As a person who is reading these ratings because I'm looking to move to Atlanta and want to find a safe neighborhood, I appreciate the management office responding to these accusations. I want to hear both sides of the story. Also, I think it is good management to keep track of the ratings of your property. If you are vendictive (and immature) enough to get that upset because you didn't get spoken to in a manner which you felt you deserved, then tell that individual at that time. You can please some of the people some of the time, but you will never please all of the people all of the time. Move to another community if you're not happy with the front desk staff. But stop being vendictive and so emotionally immature. Life is too short to stress the small stuff.
