Post properties is over priced for their offerings. We moved into an apartment with dead roaches under the stove. Grease that was so thick we had to use a putty knife to clean. The refridge had old food and moldy bread under it. The bathroom walls were pealing and painted so badly that we had to repaint them. The garage had a water leak that ruined stored furniture. The bedroom had a crack that ran from the corner of a window to the floor. The closet was so poorly insulated that we had to glue plastic over the attic access door and fill it with foam to keep the heat and cold out of the living areas. They never came to change the filters even though we would see notes that this was done... The light fixtures were missing ceiling fans and we had to pay them to be installed and were refused when we asked to take them with us. At least 5 times in a two month period the fire alarms failed and at one point the property turned off the alarm system because they could not determine how the alarms were going off. I would never ever recommend post properties to anyone. g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd

They Anonymous post from 5/12/2008 is an employee. Don't worry people, most of the leasing staff is as stuck up and ignorant as that poster. I lived there for 2years and I also work in the industry and Post does have a good rep. for their properties but NOT for their CUSTOMER SERVICE! I've seen first hand how rude they are to some residents and how they even come up to the line and almost cross the line on some fair housing issues. So please take note of how you are treated and look up the Fair Housing Act, because sometimes Post members don't exactly follow the proper steps!

Uh, no...I'm not an employee. I just happened to come back here to read the latest reviews and found this. It's astounding to me how people can perceive things so differently from others, but I've found that to be true reading the reviews for many different apartment complexes. I think some people just have to find something to complain about. Often it's nothing more than sour grapes because they feel slighted in some way. Post Ridge isn't perfect, but it's a whole lot better than most of the other apartment complexes in the area. As far as the customer service is concerned, I can only say this...I have never had a problem with anyone in the office at Post Ridge in 18 months. I'm not saying others haven't, but I must say I'm very surprised when I read complaints about them. It may be simply a difference in perception, I don't know. Ignorant? What's ignorant is to state as fact something that is totally untrue. To assume that I am an employee simply because I found the original poster's comments outlandish (based upon my own experience with Post Ridge) says far more about you than it does about me.
