Every time you extend your lease post tries to get as much as possible out of you. They would rather loose a quality resident than keep the rate reasonable...Beware..Also they are build cheap. You can hear every step if you have someone living above you.

You should research the real estate market. ALL Multi-family REITs PRICES HAVE BEEN WELL UNDER WHAT THEY SHOULD BE AT FOR A FEW YEARS. Especially since 9/11. They are just now recovering in this year. Anyone complaining that its not fair that airline tickets have gone back up since the first year after 9/11? REITS are businesses, not charity. Why should they work below market rates? Does your company?

Don't be such a moron, any apartment complex you encounter is going to raise your rate when you extend your lease. This is not shady business, it's common practice.

post raises rents 100-140 dollars, most places, if any, raise them 25 dollars. They are snakes, they know it costs big bucks to move. You guys are the idiots, and what does the companies stock price have to do with my rent and increasing it by 100...post is the most expensive in the city

I disagree because I just resigned a lease at Post Riverside and it only went up $30. Additionally I was not paying full price to begin with for my apartment because they were forced to upgrade me when I moved in, but they told me I could keep my original lease price I signed. (I signed for a studio and got a 1 bedroom apt) This means I am living here for less money than they can lease the apartment out to a new person... that does not seem like sneaky business to me.
