Nice place to live

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
I've lived at Post Riverside for nearly a year, and overall I think it's a good place to live. Here's a breakdown:
The Good
- The best part about it is that it doesn't feel like a 'typical' apartment complex, with the little town square and buildings
- People in the leasing office are always very friendly
- Maintenance requests are completed quickly
- Very quiet with plenty of parking
The Neutral
- Many residents here are older than you'd expect at an apartment complex
- For some unknown reason, Post Properties has their own cable installers. So even if you call Comcast, you are dependent on a Post employee to install your stuff, which can seemingly take forever.
The Bad
- Lots of dogs here, and very large ones. I think there is supposed to be a limit to the size of dogs residents can have but it's clearly not enforced.
- You get nickel/dimed here on your bills. In addition to the rent, you have to pay a common area fee, administrative fee, $3 trash fee, etc. It can really add up.
- For the size of the complex, the gym is very small. Unless you're going to do cardio you'll want to get a membership somewhere.
- The leasing office hours are 10-5, which means unless you're unemployed, you'll never get to the office except on Saturday.
Overall, the good outweighs the bad and I would recommend it.
