decent but noisy

This building is fairly new so cleanliness at the beginning was great. Towards the end, there were some accidents in the common areas that took days before they were cleaned.
If you decide to live here, I highly advise *not* choosing one of the apartments along Stratford Road as a new office building is about to go up. I lived in one of these apartments and had to endure a lot of construction noise during my stay as another office building was being completed in the same area. However, I don't know if the construction noise will reach the apartments on the other side of the complex, which does run along a highway (# 400) and the MARTA.
There were a lot of car break-ins in the covered garage but there's now a resident police officer which I believe has resolved that issue.
Sound insulation in the building was poor. Noise from neighboring apartments and the hallway were high.
If you like receiving your mail, do not live here. This building is famous within the USPS for mail delivery problems. I often found the panel for the mailboxes unlocked so I had easy access to everyone's mail. Several items that I mailed from this location were received by the recipients opened (though the contents were of no value and thus were all accounted for). Repeated phonecalls to the USPS prompted laughter from their end. I am now in the nightmare situation of trying to get my mail forwarded to my new address. This problem should be blamed on the USPS rather than this apartment complex itself, but it is a problem nonetheless.
The buildings proximity to the MARTA, highway 400, shopping and restaurants is great.
