I HATE POST STRATFORD!!!

I used to live at another Post property in Texas, and they were great! So I thought the Post Properties out here would be great too! I was wrong. From day one the place sucked!!!! The office person was so rude when we walked in to get our keys and sign the papers. We just got done driving 8 Hours to get there before they closed on Saturday (since we had to get there before Sunday, when they are closed). She acted as if we were taking up her time. Come to find out it was her last day and she was moving to corporate. She now does the claims for money owed after moving out, which is another story. So we walk into our apartment for the first time and find the floors dirty, a broken window, a dirty bathroom, outlets that didn't work, closet shelves that were on their last leg, and a couple other things that made it obvious that a manager didn't do a walk through. We lived there for 5 months before breaking our lease. Every time we talked to someone in the front office they treated us like we were peons! WTF!, you're the ones working at an apartment complex!
Ants: Post Stratford has a big ant problem!!!! I came home from work one day and our place was invested with ants. It was ridiculous! I called the office to have someone come out. Nope, I had to wait a week before they'd have someone come out. I had to call to have someone come out myself and clean up.
Packages: We had a package delivered, that we never knew we had for 3 months because we weren't notified. They told us it was our job to come to the office and check everyday. (Even if we're not expecting anything) What the office does is allow the delivery drives to just drop off packages at the office, rather than try and deliver them. That being said, the delivery drivers don't put notes on your doors. The complex is too confusing for them! I asked the new girl that replaced the girl that went to corporate 'what do you do all day that you can't notify us when we have a package'' I asked that because every time I went to the office they were always chit chatting! Her response was that I needed to check more frequently for packages. The package that we received three months was a time sensitive item!
Move out: We ended up getting charged for stove pans when we moved out. They sent us a bill with no due date (so I assumed the 1st would be sufficient). Then sent us a late bill, a week later. (How I found out the B from the first day was now working in claims) Who charges for stove pans' I've lived in several apartments, and never been charged for anything.
Final Note: I wrote letters to the corporate office, no responses. They just don't care.
Summary: I will never live in a Post Property again!

You are right. Don't live there. I'm still having nightmares over the ant infestation. There were also wasp nests near the trash chutes. The place was not in move-in condition when I moved in either: broken blinds on windows, broken kitchen cabinets. Office Staff goofing off/chatting on personal phone calls, making you wait. TERRIBLE mail delivery (or lack thereof). Poor security (break-ins to apartments and cars). Exit gate sometimes would not open, leaving a line of cars trying to get out in the morning. Fire alarms always going off. Simply dreadful.

yeah, I lived there. It sucked. Same story, break-ins, ants, phantom move out charges and bitchy office staff (although she was pretty hot come to think of it).
