Post Apartments are SUPPOSED to be one of the better quality apartments in the Atlanta area. They charge a VERY high rent, for very poor service/quality. Beware--their apartments are built shabbily--although they look okay when you first walk in. Know that they are showing you the BEST apartment they use as a model. The lower apartments are VERY noisy--you hear EVERY footstep, barking dog, crying baby and noise of the people above you. I know -- I have had to move already within the complex. The lower apartments get VERY wet and mildewy when it rains--which is all winter long. The lower apartments leak from the apartments above too.

The WORST part of this is that when you complain to the office staff--they tell you they will take care of everything, then they try to evict you because you are a "trouble-maker." This way, they get some other poor schmuck to rent the defective apartment. This is the second POST apartment complex I've lived in in Atlanta and I'll be moving out in December. I will NOT move into another Post complex as I have had other friends in the Atlanta area who have had trouble with Post Staff as well.

ANOTHER WARNING: Get EVERYTHING the staff tells you in writing. They will tell you anything to your face in the office (just to get rid of you) then blatantly lie and deceive you, or deny anything that was previously agreed upon.

RENTER BEWARE of POST--there are way too many other affordable, very nice apartments to live in in the Atlanta area. POST has gotten way to big, non-personal and care more about making money than serving the renters who live in their apartments. Once you move in, they treat you like ----.

Also, LOTS of car vandalism here because Atlanta thieves know how easy it is to jump the fence off of Briarcliff. Often 5 cars get broken into at a time , a couple of times a month. The Police Officer they tell you that "lives on the property" has no affect on deterring vandals. If called he takes 30-45 mins to show up, tells you he's called the police and then does absolutely nothing. Do NOT live at any POST apartments if you have a half-way decent car, thieves assume their take will be better at Post complexes.
