I have lived here for a little over 2 months and honestly, for what it is, it isn't that bad. I live here specifically because they allow my large-breed dog. The interiors are cheap but clean, I don't have any bugs, and my utilities are low. The location is EXCELLENT, there's a small but nice pool and gym, and the exteriors look decent. Maintenance has fixed everything we have complained about.
Yeah, the gate breaks a lot, but it's an older place so it's to be expected, and I've never once felt unsafe here. It's mostly quiet college students and young professionals. I can also hear every footstep that my upstairs neighbors take, but I am fairly certain that they haven't heard the phrase "tread lightly." I don't, however, hear their TV or voices or anything like that.
I'm not saying it's perfect. I just think people get on here when they're mad and get disillusioned that there are places that are WAY better for the money in the same location, and the fact is that there aren't. I looked EVERYWHERE.
So if you need a place that's reasonable and safe, and have a big dog but don't want to pay Post's $1000 pet deposit, this is a tolerable, usually pleasant place to live.
