Not bad, but not the best

My wife and I've been living here for about a year and half now, and we are very ready to move out. Don't get me wrong, this Camelot has been a decent experience, but I'll list the bad before the good:
- Walls are a bit on the thin side. More than once we've lost sleep due to the arguing neighbors/crying baby next door.
- Work-out facility. It's better than nothing, and includes treadmills, stationary bikes, dumbells, and some pulley-based machines, but the water cooler never has water in it, and the stairway leading to it smells disgustingly musty. I've complained to management about it, but they said they were in the process of hiring a new maid to clean that up, but as of this writing, it's been 5 months, and nothing's changed.
- Too many crime reports lately. Since about summer of '05, criminal activities have been reported at least once a month. Assaults, car thefts, apartment break-ins. I know they've added more lights in the parking lot, a couple of cameras by the gates, and a cop or two in the complex, so at least they're doing something about our safety.
- Very few bugs. We've had the occasional ladybug, and a roach or two. Most recently, we've had 6 ants that somehow got in through the window sill.
- The management staff is nice and friendly. However, be wary of when you ask them to do something, they write it down on a post-it note or something that can be easily misplaced, and sometimes don't seem to communicate with one another. (like when the maintence guys incorrectly installed our washing machine and had the hot/cold pipes backwards). However, they frequently host nice events/parties for the complex-- a good way to meet your neighbors.
- This is a complaint about the neighbors, not the complex itself. Too many times when I'm coming home, I find my neighbors parking their vehicles VERY sloppily. I'm talking about the ones with nice luxury cars and SUVs that double park and/or try to reverse into a spot and are completely over the lines. They don't have the decency to straighten their cars! That just irks me.
Anyway, overall, the good outweigh the bad at Camelot--you can't beat its location. It's conveniently located near all the shops and restaurants you could ever need, and the price is decent for technically being Inside The Perimeter.
