When my husband and I first moved to Providence, we loved the complex. The location was great (right by 285), so you could get anywhere in the city quickly. I was expecting our first child, so I spent 99% of the days at home before and after she was born. I had family down to visit, and we decided to go to the mall one afternoon to get out of the house. We left around noon and when my husband got home from work around 3:30, our door had been kicked in and all of our electronic equipment had been stolen. I understand this can happen anywhere, but the gates are never closed, allowing anyone to come in.....The management tried to tell us it had to be one of our friends; we moved to ATL from Indiana and had only a handful of friends here....all colleagues of my husband. We are almost certain it was someone within the complex who watched me leave because I am ALWAYS home, my car was there that day (we took my aunt's vehicle), and it all happened within 3 1/2 hours.
The complex is nice, but not that nice to risk losing all of your things!

The management at this place sucks. If it wasn't for Colleen, I never would have made it. Your situation is unfortunate. My truck was stolen from this complex and when I went to the office to get the footage from the security cameras, they informed me that the gate cameras were dummy cameras. Little did I know that I should have sued them. I understand what you mean about the gates. Even when they are closed, it is extremely easy to follow behind another person. I'm sorry that this happened to you. You truly only have a safe apartment if you have one with an attached garage so that you can dead bolt it. Camelot/Providence sucks!
