If you want to be attacked by rats and have ghetto neighbors, then move to The Rivermont. This is the WORST place I have ever lived. The management and leasing staff are very rude and unprofessional. I lived there for 3 years, of which the last two were the worst. When I moved there in August 2003, the management was Lane Company. The office staff was very nice and professional. Also, the caliber of residents in the community was better and requirements to qualify for an apartment were more strict. I mean during the day, you barely saw cars in the parking lot, which means that the residents WORKED for a living and didn't sit around and collect a government check. Well, then things took a turn for the worst 2 months later when RAM Partners took over and a man named "Greg" took over as property manager. They allowed anyone and everyone qualify for an apartment in the community which had a dramatic impact on the quality of life there. All sorts of crime, break in's, and drug activity began to occur. They claimed there were courtesy officers on site (which I never saw). I had nothing but problems with these people. Loud music, kids in the street, and "dopes boys" hanging out were a constant staple here. I mean I was afraid to even get out of my car and walk into my building for fear of being harrased. And oh yes, the rats. You couldn't even take your garbage to the trash compactor without being attacked by huge rats!! Please do yourself a favor and NEVER MOVE THERE!!!!!!

I concur on all the previous person stated. I'm was a tenant two days ago, as I'm paying to break my lease..!(That should tell you something) I'm breaking my lease at rivermont, as my car was damaged from dudes fighting in the parking lot, a gun pulled on me, and my house broke-in. Originally when I moved in, the complex was fine but when the rent dropped dramatically, the tenants and complex hit rock bottom. I've never seen such ghetto people, drug dealers,kids everywhere, huge roaches, and gigantic rats. Also, lets not forget poor management (Ghetto, un-professional, and just care about you paying rent). So I conclude by saying, NEVER MOVE HERE LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPEND ON IT...!(OH, BECAUSE IT DOES)
