I have lived in Riverside House for about six years. I find the management responsive and they keep up with maintenance. The neighbors have never been rowdy, loud, or rude. They are mostly young professional families and single professionals. The property feels safe and the units are well-built. There is little noise from the neighbors above or below, although there is some noise from the breezeways sometimes, or from children playing in the grassy areas.

The apartments are somewhat small and the decor is older -- a little smaller than I would like, but well maintained. It's a good value, but if you're looking for the newest, latest and greatest, there is a remodeled building that seems to be quite attractive. Also, many of the neighbors are Indian professionals, so if you like the aroma of Indian food cooking as you come in during the dinner hour, you will be comfortable here.

The washers and dryers in the laundry room always seem to work, and the pool seems to be well-maintained. They also have tennis courts, but no exercise room. There is a walking path at the end of the property. Food, wine, and a barber shop are a short walk down the hill. It is convenient to Cumberland Mall, Interstate North, and Circle 75. Overall, it's been good, somewhat modest living at an affordable price in a higher rent area. If you are quiet, respectful of your neighbors, and keep normal hours, you will like it here.

Recently they've allowed pets. The pet fee is nonrefundable, but the rent did not change.
