I've lived in Riverside Place since November of 2004. Although the area consists of older apartment complexes, Riverside Place has gone to great measure to attempt to improve the quality of life in the complex. They have recently reroofed all the apartment buildings. The grounds are well cared for and clean.
It is located adjacent to a Hwy 400 overpass, but it is remarkable quiet and serene here. From personal observation, it is a mostly older and single/couple residents. There are a handful of children in the complex, but they seem to be well behaved and not a nuisence to other residents. I personally live in a hall with children on all sides, and they are Good Kids.
As far as internally, I rarely hear my neighbors. And as mentioned before, they have young active children. I find this a bonus.
Maintence and office staff are wonderful. If I happen to have a maintence issue, it is very quickly and properly given attention. The staff is friendly, and I frequently see them out and about on the complex as I'm coming and going. They always wave, and it seems that they remember everyone's names(seems impossible, but I've seen it.)
The complex is affordable, and in a great location. Just south of the Chattahoochee River, in newly structured Sandy Springs.

Overall, I have really enjoyed my experience here at Riverside Place Apartments. I would recommend it to someone looking for a nice, quiet, safe, North Atlanta/Sandy Springs/Roswell apartment.
