Management really tries but .....

the maintenance is something to be desired. I don?t think that the management at the complex has enough say so in how the place is managed.
Every other day is a different leasing consultant, which shows inconsistency. They do make an effort to keep the grounds clean. But I must say in the midst of all the problems, the tenants are for the most part responsible for the upkeep of the complex. They contribute to the consistent mess that has to be attended to more times that I can count.
Maintenance is a very important issue with this complex. Although I cannot speak for everyone else?s building or apartment, I can safely say that the building needs renovating. The rugs in the hallway of the building needs to be removed and replaced with flat tiles or something else that can be cleaned and mopped (easier to maintain), Which is probably where most of the roaches reside. My apartment leaks all over. There are different parts of the floor under the rug that is damaged. The repairs that are made in the apartments are old. They patch up walls. The cabinets doors are turned around from inside to outside instead of being replaced. The bathrooms fixtures are old and are from other used bathrooms.
Overall, maintenance is the major problem there. I think management at the complex wants to make some drastic changes, but their hands are tied because they cannot make any decisions without corporate. Frankly, it is apparent that Corporate does not care about this complex, because it brings in the least amount of rent, and because they don?t have to live there, they could care less.
When you live in a complex where the corporate office does nothing to enhance one of its income source, then obviously its about the money. People who don?t care about people should not be in the business of providing suitable living arrangements.
The place where you live is where you spend most of your time and sometimes we compromise being comfortable for less rent, and that is wrong. If only the corporate office would think to themselves, "Would I live here'" they would manage this complex with a little more decency and respect.
Is it too much to ask for the fixtures to be replaced with new fixtures (not expensive fixtures)' Is it too much to ask for cabinets with new doors (not expensive doors)' Is it too much to ask for leveled floors' Is it too much to ask for a roach-free apartment'
If maintenance improves and the buildings are renovated, this would be a great place to live. But for now, I don?t recommend it to anyone who wants to be in a comfortable, clean, bug-free apartment complex, and that is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS
