I was in a hurry when I came to Atlanta to find an apartment, and this former small-town guy was naive enough to think everything would be okay just because they had a security alarm! After we changed our address with everyone (including billing places), they called and changed our address the day before we were to leave Texas. When I told them this was unacceptable, they said they?d kick out the person who wouldn?t leave our apartment. That never happened. They wanted to put us in a 3-bedroom instead of a 2-bedroom (at a 2-bedroom price, but only for 6 months, and then we would have to move ourselves!). They finally found a 2-bedroom, so we changed our address with everybody again. When we actually got there, they had changed the apartment on us yet once more! Not only that, but they had called all the utilities and pretended to be us in order to get things like cable switched over! We hadn?t even signed up for cable, but they had given the cable company our Social Security numbers! We told them no thanks and drove away. When we returned a couple of weeks later to retrieve some of our mail that had been sent there (because the post office said they had delivered it there), the manager tried to close the office early and send us home. It took forever to get our mail and our check back! This place also is known for regular drug busts. Stay away!!!!!!!!!!!! Or at least check with the police department to get the stats first.
