I lived in this apartment almost 2 years ago and it was such a bad experience that I actually blocked out the name of the apartment complex. I ran across an ad in apartmentguide and thats what reminded me. The gates never worked and if they did work, the cards to get in the gates didnt work. We had a leak in our bathroom, that went down into the kitchen. When they finally came to fix it, they pulled out the toilet and put it in the bathtub. They left it there all day. When it was finally put back all the nasty crap off the toilet was in the tub. And thats how it stayed until I cleaned it. Needless to say, I wore flip flops in the shower from that point on. One night my roommates and I went to get some food, on our way out we saw this guy and 2 girls and he was beating the crap out of both of them. People were driving by and never stopped so we called the police. And the womanbeater took off. The police went looking for him but I don?t know if they ever found him. It was like a sauna in our apartment the entire year we lived there. From May until May, even during the winter. When we called and complained about this, they replaced the filter. I honestly dont think that filter had ever been replaced it had so much dirt on it. We had bad kids that lived next door to us and they would throw trash onto our porch. I went swimming at the pool once, because some bad a** kids were in the pool and started throwing water on my roommate and me until we had to just leave. People would never be in the office. When we moved out and went to turn in our key, not one single person was in the office and we had to wait over an hour for all of them to come back from lunch. One month after I moved in, I wanted to move back out. The experience was so bad, that I just moved back into the dorm. I graduate next year and I dont even want to start looking for an apartment. The price is good, but dont let it fool you. The only good thing about the Berkshires is not living there. We had roaches, that weren't from us, the size of Montana and they wouldn't come to spray.
