I was scared for my life living in this place. I came home one Friday night and while changing someone threw a rock in my window upstairs and broke the glass, I was inches away. I called the police and they did not find out who it was that did that. I was scared out of my wits to the point that I did not stay at the apartment that night, I went to the apartment across the street to stay with my friends. I also had water seeping through the bathroom downstairs, it took them months to come out and fix it. The water caused molds to grow in the ceiling, which gave the place a foul smell. I had bronchitis twice that year, living in that place, which I learnt later after I moved out that the mold might have contributed to the reoccurence of the bronchitis. They were very slow to respond to everything. The toiliet and the bath tub in the master bedroom needed replacing, they took forever to do that and my bathroom could not be used for days because they spent so longing trying to replace everything and trying to stop the leak, which resulted in the leaky ceiling in the first floor half bath. There were always scary characters hanging outside the building. I did notice that just before I moced out, there were uniformed and plain clothes police manning the area, because it had gotten so bad...i finally bought a house and moved out. Good riddance. My cousin is living there now, much to my surprise, she does say they are renovating and the community is changing for the better now. Hope so...the new management may be making a difference. To get anything done, I had to actually e-mail and call their property management company, who put pressure on the office manager then to act. Hope this place turns around soon. It is in a nice location.
