I lived in Savannah during all of 2005. I loved living at Midtown. You are next door to Publix, I could walk to Marta, and I had a view of the whole city from my top floor apartment. The greatest thing about this complex is the roof top. They have hot tubs, basketball, and tennis courts on the roof where you can see the whole skyline. I personal do agree even when I was there, there were security issues and one or two fire alarms. The security staff every night I saw sitting in a van or was running around the garage on a golf cart. The back entrance behind Publix can be scary at certain times in the day. However lets be honest you are living in downtown Atlanta. Anywhere you live if you want downtown will have most of these issues. I think the most important thing that needs to be address is the security issue.
