Another REAL Review ie. No Blatant Exaggerations

I've lived at Savannah Midtown for over a year now. I have the largest 1 bedroom floor plan and have had no problems. I'm on the second floor and my view isn't the greatest, as I'm facing the inside of the building, but the apartment is fabulous. High ceilings, garden tub, washer & dryer, built-in microwave...you can't get those amenities elsewhere. I would agree that my rent is steeper than what other renters in Atlanta probably pay, but it's worth it to me, as I've never seen those mammoth-sized roaches ie. palmetto bugs or ants (both huge problems in Georgia) in my apartment and all of my maintenance requests are completed within 24 hours. Not to mention, I'm approximately 7 minutes away from my place of business, so there's no commute.
The rooftop amenities (hot-tub, *very small* pool, tennis and basketball courts) are a hit with my visitors - and apparently everyone else in Atlanta. Some of the residents have posted entries calling these people "ghetto" and say that they make their lives miserable. Trust me - as someone who actually grew up in the "ghetto" - these kids/adults that come up are playing basketball...not selling drugs and robbing folks. They don't live here, but honestly, what can we do about it. I have a strong feeling that if these "intruders" looked like most of the residents at Savannah, or perhaps, were skateboarders with long hair, there wouldn't be such an outrage....I've said it once and I'll say it again. If people are so unhappy at Savannah Midtown, why not take advantage of Equity's transfer program, where you can transfer to any other Equity property at any time without breaking your lease. It would seem to me that one would want to take a proactive approach if they feel that their life and belongings are constantly in jeopardy by living at SM. The information is clearly stated on the company's website and I have, in fact, taken advantage of it in the past by moving into SM.
Savannah Midtown has been a good rental choice for me. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk

as someone thinking about moving into SM this is a rediculous review. intruders (or people who sneak up to play basketball off our rent and upkeep fees) no matter what they look like (skateboarders or thugs)are intruders, and seeing that some of the residents condone the behavior makes me worry about it being safe.

In that case, I would suggest purchasing a home where you have a say. The reality is that people of all kinds are constantly on the premises of Savannah Midtown. Midtown would be the operative word there. I have never felt unsafe, which is the bottom line. This review is not ridiculous - it is reality.

Anyone else get the feeling that this response is written by the management there? Anyway, I was considering this apartment, but this post has actually helped me decide against this place. Obviously, there is no security if random kids gain entry to play basketball. Harmless or not, this building must have some security. I used to live in Chicago, so this view cannot be blamed by lack of an urban mindset.
