My wife and I lived in this community for roughly 3.5 months before a combination of the homeless shelter (2 blocks away), poor facility maintenace, horrendous security, non-residents using all the facilities, and lack of a view forced us to make the decision to take a $1,400 hit for breaking the lease. Best $1,400 I've ever spent, ever! The management staff is very nice, Equity is easy to deal with (auto payment and quick fixes), but the community overall is pretty bad. Maybe if I went to school at GTech, maybe. Otherwise, you can look a few streets North and find nicer communities in a safer neighborhood with better ammenities. Oh, and don't be fooled, there is no pool, it's a 11 x 4 ft tub...and it's often filled with non-residents.

I almost forgot about the half dozen or so fire alarms that went off b/w the hours of 1 and 4 am. They are loud and it's impossible to stay inside when they go off. Finally, there is the regular break-in, rape, assault that causes the management to hire some random non-english speaking security guard to rome the hallways for about two weeks. He really provides no value, except to harass the tenants not doing anything wrong.

I can say I did not know about this site prior to moving here from Chicago, and I wish I had, I would never have lived here. The reviews are spot on, you DO NOT, want to live here...if you are reading these, do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live...you'll be glad to never have experienced this hole.

So out of curiousity, why would you stay inside your apartment when the fire alarm goes off? You're complaining that its too loud? What if they were quieter and when they went off you didn't wake up. I'm sure if you made it out alive you're post would probably complain about that. I have been here 3 years and have never heard of a rape. One guy was held up at gun point in the visitors parking garage at like 1am. Break ins, yes but its a product of the environment. Do you believ the other properties in Midtown don't have those? Midtown is one of the safer areas of this city. Look at what is going on over at Tech. Everyone that reads these negative reviews take them wih a grain of salt knowing there are alterior motives behind them. It's personal to come on here and post an add. If this place was as dangerous as it sounds on here, you would not see the Mercedes, BMW's, and other high end cars here. It isn't that bad.

1. The fire alarm going off to get me out of bed and into the garage is one thing. Having it go off for 20-40 minutes AFTER the fire dept has left is an entirely different issue. Also, the problem wasn??t necessarily/just with the volume, but the fact that it goes off on a regular basis, and always early in the morning. 2. I spent the last 10 years living in downtown Chicago. A city that has an in-town (actual city living) population that is double ATL's. The difference is the mgmt companies take security and protecting the property of the renters very, very seriously. In two different buildings over ten years I never even heard wind of a car break-in, let alone people being robbed at gun point and apt break-in's. People are far too lax about the criminal behavior in this facility, chalking it up to the ??Big City.?? This isn??t the big city folks and the crime is far too high for this facility. 3. So, by your theory, if someone can lease a BMW or Mercedes, the building is safe. Brilliant, really that??s an excellent theory. Why don??t you do everyone a favor and step-up and stop posting anonymously. Funny, but I see your counter posts all over this page and everyone who has a complaint does so openly, but you, the counter point hide. In the end, the numbers speak for themselves. A 30% approval/recommendation rating is spot on for this property and no amount of justification will change that rating until they actually manage the property, beef up security on a regular basis, and limit the access points in and out. It comes down to feeling safe, and that is something I never felt while living there. I??m glad you love it, please stay there, it??ll ensure that someone as complacent as you never lives near me again. My motivation to post this isn??t personal, but rather to be informative about the reality of this property. It??s why I said the mgmt is friendly and maintenance is very responsive. I??m happy I moved out, I was glad to pay the penalties, and if my family??s safety and security makes me an elitist, well, a proud elitist I will forever be.

There is crime everywhere in Atlanta, period and even if you spent more money to live somewhere it NEVER guarantees your safety. Heck the higher end the property the more likely hood that it will be hit. And less than 15 reviews out of the 300 plus units on this property never tells the truth its just the people that are disgruntled that type stuff.

I am a single woman and thought about moving here because of the location and the price is not that bad for Midtown. I rely heavily on the reviews. Atlanta's crime rate is very high and higher than big cities across the country. I never pay attention to "not enough parking, break-ins because it is the city". I do how ever want an approval rate of at least 50%. 50% means that most people are very please with the place. When people are happy with something they are rarely to give a compliment or waste time to post, but when people are totally dissatified they will tell all. This tells me that this complex does not totally satisfy enough people to make them want to tell the world how great it is living there. I have been correct so far with the apartments I have lived in. I haved lived in Sandy Springs, Duluth and now Atlanta(Buckhead) and was very pleased with those apartments because the approval rating was at least 50%. I like living in the city and will look elsewhere. Thank you for your post.
