We lived here for 2 years and, overall, were satisfied.
The apartment itself: We had a 2BR/2BA with den and hardwood (really laminate) flooring. This was a good size, although relatively pricey at almost $1300/mo. The layout is nice; great closet space; big rooms and bathrooms. Pre-wired surround size was also a bonus. The walls are not all that thick, which brings us to...
Neighbors: I've found that they are, for the most part, very friendly and amenable. For instance, our downstairs neighbor has a subwoofer he used quite a bit (and a bit loudly). Although he would still sometimes offend, he did tone it down after a call and visit. I have not encountered any nuisance neighbors.
Parking/grounds: The parking is generally pretty ample, although there are those times late at night when you have to park pretty far away. You also have to watch for peopel that drive too fast through the parking deck, but that is really the case anywhere. The main gate does seem to break down quite a bit, although it is usually fixed in a day or two. The grounds are well-kept and clean.
Office Staff: Overall, they are very friendly and helpful, although they sometimes tend to ignore you if they have a prospective tenant in front of them. They are pretty responsive about any maintenance requests and they do host many social events with free food/drinks. Some are just social, others promote homebuilders like Beazer, but free is free.
Ameneties: Nice pool, free movie rental (not a ton, but many newer titles), workout room, car wash area, valet trash pickup, aforementioned social events.
Other: Great location, although traffic can be a real bear on Ashford-Dunwoody at times. Easy walking distance to the mall, Park Place shopping center, Walmart, etc.
Overall: Seems a step up from the other complexes I've lived in.
