I am very sad because I used to love the chamblee area. A few years ago, this complex included a nice balance of ------, whites, asians and indian people. Everyone pretty much kept to themseleves. For whatever reason, the tide has been shifiting. Now there seems to be ALOT of teenagers hanging out at night. It is bad because some of them are starting to sit on other people's cars and steal items from people's porches. There is also suspect drug use and activity in this area as well. The grounds are not well maintained.
A few years ago, I would have absolutely recommended Shallowford Oaks or the other nearby apartments. Now I am starting to see a negative trend developing in this area. Sadly, it is time to move on. I have a young child. I want my child to be raised in a safe and positive environment. I no longer see that here.
