A couple of years ago I toured one of the apartments at Shallowford Oaks. The landscape was beautiful, and the units were a nice size with a large kitchen (a plus in my book). Upon moving here I have noticed the quality of people have gotten worse. Although they place the Section 8 Tenants in the back this does not exclude the full rent payers from not being as bad if not worse than the sterotype description placed upon people on Section 8. There are regular renters who are public drunks, they have no respect for their neighbor's privacy, nor do they respect the property of others. Driving through Shallowford Oaks you would think you are driving through one of the projects in Chicago (from the first unit to the last). I would never suggest nor advise anyone to move in. But if you are looking for a step up from the Ghetto, maybe you should consider.. but if you want different don't even think about it.
