Under old management, things were fine. However, since new management has taken over, I have had an extremely poor experience with Sloan Square. As others have said, management is (and has been for the past year or so) extremely unresponsive to maintenance and safety requests. Approximately 3 or 4 months ago, there was an armed robbery in the parking lot. When the matter received media attention, the news said that management promised to take steps to correct the safety situation. They have, since then, failed to do anything. Lately, I had the experience of a drifter trying to enter my apartment at 9 o'clock in the morning. Several maintenance requests--including those that relate to safety--have gone unreported. When faced with problems, local management has been verbally abusive.

In my experience, the Connor Group (absentee owners of the property) has done nothing to solve the problems. Their "customer representative" appears to do nothing to help these problems, but seems to make nebulous promises that "she'll see that it's worked out."

Not sure why ANYONE would suggest that this is a good place to live. My advice would be to run away.

Stop your lies , did you see the robbery? Have you ever felt unsafe enough to move ? Stop trying to ruin the reputation of this company , if you dont like it move. Since your still here I guess its not all that bad. I am completley happy with this community and management. This is great place to live !!

"Lisab312", apparently you have no idea what it means to break a lease -- or perhaps you are a management stooge who would like to see unhappy tenants liable for all the rental payments left on their leases after they move out before the lease is up. What a maroon!

Lisa, I hated it so much that I did break the lease ... and lost more than $2500 in the bargain! I do "love" the way you command other people to do or not do things, as if it's all up to you! If this company is operated badly, abusing their residents, etc., then they DESERVE to have their "reputation" ruined, and they are doing that to themselves witht very little help from those of us who have posted here. Moving out is what most people who hate the place do or want to do. But once out, or when stuck there because they can't afford to move until the lease is up, they have every right to complain and to warn others, commands from management stooges not withstanding!
