I came to live at Sloan Square a year ago after reading positive reviews here. Unfortunately that was around the time that the Connor Group took over, and all the negative reviews here were posted.

1. In the mornings from 8-10am there is barely any hot water. Get used to lukewarm showers.

2. They charge you a $100 late fee if you are even ONE day late with your rent. There is NO grace period stated on the lease.

3. Maintenance is horrid. I asked that something in our apartment be fixed twice. Each time, maintenance showed up, and left a note saying everything was fine and was fixed. Nothing was ever even touched.

4. Crime. Several months ago people were robbed at gunpoint within the complex. While other complexes around (Post Briarcliff, etc.) hired private security in response, Sloan Square did nothing.

5. Quality of residents. Going down. Smells like marijuana half the time when I step outside my door. Several months ago I saw two US Marshals about to knock down the door on an apartment when someone inside refused to come out.

6. Ridiculous community fees. $50/mo bill shows up out of nowhere after you sign your lease. Never mentioned by staff prior to signing lease.

7. Ugly fixtures, old and smelly carpet.

All in all a terrible living experience. Don't ever live here, even to save a few dollars a month. Go rent from Post or Gables. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn
