Moved in a couple years ago and last year when the apartments were bought by new management everything seemed to change for the worst!
They started tacking on these -------- fees for common electric, infestation maintenence and general electric which comes out to near 55 dollars a month. The only problem is this past year I've had the worst bug problem ever and I have lived in the same place with no problem for 2 years prior. They raised the rent this year so on average a one bedroom one bath is 897, they must be out of their minds!!!! You don't even know when maintenance shows up because they don't ever leave a note, the amenities are horrible. Their exercise room is one treadmill, one stepper and a weight machine (the tv is broken) there is no air conditioner (only a cheap fan) and if you have more than one person in it, you can hardly move! Their pools have been shut down for weeks, they're dirty and cloudy and small. The appliances look like they're from the 80's and the landscaping is horrid. The only good thing about the apartments is the location. You'd be a fool to pay this much money for these crap apartments

you are so right in everything you said...ive lived here for two years and im leaving as soon as my lease ends next month. luckily, i never had a bug problem (only some gnats during my first year...) but they really need to update the apartments and get some new managers (they clearly dont care about the tenants, all the hidden fees, or the problems). there are much better apt complexes in the area, even if you have to pay a few more dollars, its probably worth it.

Our lease ends in August, and we're outta there... we actually like it at Sloan Square, but the rent is outrageous for what you get. Funny enough, they're now posting on Craigslist with rent that will be over $200 LESS than what we'd pay for our small 1 BR. What a frickin' scam, plus you have to wonder how that can even benefit them. Their obnoxious yellow signs out front should say "We love screwing over our residents!" instead of just "We love our residents". What a load of crap.
