I have recently decided to warn as many people as i possibly can about this apartment complex. In doing so, I have had many strangers come to me and give me wonderful advise on how to get justice as an unsatisfied tenant. As most of you know, maintenance is a joke, the corporate office doesn't care, and we are just sitting here paying rent on time every month for services not rendered. And it is simply not fair ! I am sick of calling day after day after day to have repairs made with no results. It's almost like they are laughing at us like we are their source of entertainment or something. I hate it here and Iwont break my lease so that they can sue me. I would like to go to the media about this apartment and contact a lawyer. This is something that I would like others to participate in, with or without me. I say that instead of posting reviews and being pissed off that we stand up for ourselves and do something about our situation as well as warn innocent potential renters. This is all new to me and i'm like a blind person walking through the dark, but with Gods help I know justice will be served. Who is with me '

p.s. If anyone is thinking about renting from here, my advise to you is to read all these reviews. This apartment complex is ripping us off. They take our money and laugh behind our back. We need repairs that will never happen. I have been asking for repairs to be made since day 1. If you don't pay your rent you get kicked out. If they don't do their job they get to keep it. I am so upset that I have made it my personal goal to get justice. And I will get it. I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH....DO NOT RENT FROM SLOAN SQUARE APARTMENTS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. AMEN! I'm sorry you got "burned" and am happy you will be able to get out soon. I URGE people reading these reviews to take them seriously. This place is going down hill badly ... like a once grand lady who is now on hard times, still wearing her finery, which is fading, moth-eaten, etc. YOu CAN find much better in this neighborhood!

$1199? When I lived here in 2005-2006 I paid $878 for a 2 bed/2 bath. Considering how it sounds now, that price is too much. I had to get out of this place and I feel sorry for people who still live here.

yes I was "burned" and am thoroughly pissed off. when I see the people that work here it ticks me off even more with thier fake ass smiles and empty promises. and $878 for a 2bd 2 bth less than 2 years ago ? well now that's just grease being thrown on the fire....lol...now im heated ! I can not stress enough to potential renters to RUN AWAY ! the people posting these reviews are not joking. take us all serious. or you too will be the next victim of slum lord hell ! I BS YOU NOT !

i agree lets exchange email addresses. we actually just won our case they tried to evict us after we put out a rent strike for the condition of the property. leaky ceilings, infestation, just pure filth. they too ignored us but we stood up and won and we will win on damages because this place ruined my wardrobe and laptop among other things! if you want to follow suit , be witnesses for us or join us in anyway please leave your email or we can plan a meeting somewhere. we move out on the 1st of september.
