Donna or whatever name you gave yourself...we are all complainers, really...
There are definitely apartments that are rated high above 60% on this site. Usually I never post on things like these but I had such a bad experience living here after the Connor Group I've been telling everyone I know and posting everywhere about this crappy apartment complex. I was very very happy before the new group took over and boasted to my other friends how affordable the rent was but once the Connor group took over and started charging these ridiculous fees, the roaches that suddenly appeared in my apartment, the shooting up of a car right outside my window (my boyfriend had to call the police that night), the robberies and the murder, what sane individual would NOT complain about this type of service' Mind you my air conditioner didnt' work for 2 weeks before someone finally came to fix it. 48 hours, you must be out of your mind. I was told when the Connor group took over they would replace the 80's fixtures and steam clean the apartment. Never Happened. Is the pool still shut down, cloudy and dirty''' Sloan Square is a horrible place to live and what a shame because it is in a great location. I know a lot of people coming into school at Emory and I will definitely do them the favor of warning them away from this crap place.

I'll add to the post and the first reply that I am not by nature a complainer, though I do expect to get what I pay for when I hand over more than $1100/month plus utilities for an apartment. I lived at Sloan Square for six years, and LOVED living there until the Connor Group took over. Perhaps "Donna" has little against which to compare her experience. I can assure her, and others, that I did. I could compare how wonderful Sloan Square was under its previous management to what it very quickly became under the new "management" (and I use that term advisedly). Folks looking for an apartment are welcome to take their chances that "Donna" is right and Sloan Square is still a great place, or they can consider the warnings from the "complainers," several of whom were long-term former residents who are disgusted with what has become of a once wonderful place to live.

Once again, these folks are right on. Only thing that I would add to the original poster is that noise (which had not been an issue previously) is getting to be one. People in the parking lot, playing loud music from their cars for 20-30 minutes at a time; people sitting out and talking on the steps in front of the apartments for hours (maybe they don't like turning on the air conditioning?); people who are seeing how high they can rev their engines at 1-2 am on a Tuesday night. That's one more reason you might want to avoid Sloan Square.

I pay 1199 plus utilities (including common utilities?) and I can't get repairs made in less than a month, had to listen to my neighbors party last night till well after 4 am (no joke) and I'm just a "complainer?"
Well Sloan Square is in breech of their part of the contract. I have never had to wait over a month for maintenance repairs in any apartment EVER. And I have been renting for at least 14 years. Even in the cheap apartments the customer service and maintenance was wayyyyy better. I thought because I live close to Emory and Buckhead that I would be getting a nice upscale place to live. Boy was I wrong. Donna, you are a certified jerk and a fake and most of all, a LIAR
