Where do i start. The first thing was a water break that had one enitire complex sitting outside trying to salavage whatever goods that they could. Mothers holding on to there youngs ones while they were still in there PJ's. Accidents happen, true, but you would expect for your leasing office managemnet to at least have a loving and concerned attitude. on the contrary. they didnt reply in a timely manner, nor did they even have a sense of urgency about themselves. i guess if it wasnt my kids or wife or dog i wouldnt care either. a lot of peoples things were destoyed when the plumbing line busted and flooded out the apartments....the following week it happened again. THEFT: a really nice heavy set guy moved in next to me. he wasnt noisy and was very polite. a nice guy. it was unfortunate that his place was broken into. At least the police officer was nice. cant say much about the management that tells you that "Every unit comes with an alarm system" TRUE its does...but it doesnt work. ATTITUDE: Very sweet and nice BEFORE the lease is signed. afterwards they are VERY VERY natsy! the first two sets of managments were actually very nice. i really liked them but this new managment team are very unprofessional. LoL! they actually tried to charge me rent twice in one month!!! "Dont play me" i told them. PlayStation" I literally had to get my banker on the phone. Wow! DIRTY: Trash around dumpster, Trash overflows around mail box area, No bags for "poop stop" when you walk your dogs so if you're not careful...mmm, mmm, mmm. WILDLIFE: This wasnt one the aminities listed on the brochsure when i moved here. So when i saw the little puppy running free and realized it wasnt a puppy but a RAT!! it FREAKED ME OUT..."I've never seen RATS that BIG. They are really really fast!! MAINTENANCE: my garbage disposal still stinks "like the management". Which is why i'm moving. UNFORTUNATELY without two of my suites due to the fact that they are missing all of a sudden. When i asked management if anyone came to by my place they replied "Sir, we dont have a key to your place" Thats a lie. Maintenance HAS to have a key to every unit in order to maintain the apartment if the tenant isnt home. My dryer also still isnt drying. (sigh) if you love your family dont come here. This is my first blog but i had to warn those looking for a place. I would want someone to warn me.

I totally agree with you. Every since The Connor Group took over things have gone downhill. Like you stated, this place is terrible and there are big rats running across the parking lot. I was so happy when I moved out of this slum. . .you are right, future tenants who are thinking about renting here should definitely stay away from this dump!!!

I have to say, I moved out 5 months ago but still go back to see friends who still live there and they are happy now for the first time in a while. One just renewed their lease and another are about to get their apartment redone with new appliances I too had problems with seeing rats but my friend who lives in the #2 building where I lived said they haven't seen one in months and they were almost ready to move out. The previous Manager stiffed me out of my deposit but when I called last month the person who answered the phone took my information and low and behold my deposit was sent back to me. The Connor Group may have done some pretty shady things in the past but I have to say, I may not have moved out if I would have known they were getting their act together.

I had worst experience and had stuck with them for one year. At least, i personally never recommened someone. I did complain even to higher management in connar group but, my problem had been never resolved.

The worst part is HEARTLAND REGIONAL POWER COMPANY. When I signed my lease in Feb. I was told my utilities would range from $25 - $35 per month. The "water" bill is actually $50 per month with frivolous charges such as "pest control" (which never comes when you request them, btw), "common electric" and "common gas" to name a few. I hate having to pay this bill each month, especially when I know how much of a ripoff it is. I've never heard of any other apartment dwellers having to pay such silly charges. Come December I will be ready to cancel my lease.
