I have lived in some horrible places but nowhere has been like this one. I have been there two years and nothing ever gets done. They had me paying more than I should have for my rent and when I found out and confronted them, I was told it was my fault for signing the lease even though the lease documents had the wrong amount. They were supposed to have fixed it in the system but I am still getting call and letters on my door saying my rent is past due. I have to tell the female on the phone, who has a very ugly attitude and told me that its not her problem cause she works, that I will be in on Saturday to meet with Ms. Shaffer and that if she pulled my file she would see the note for the correct rent amount. And calling the corp. office does no good. They say they will call Ms. Shailer but that s like waiting for paint to dry. The maintenance is terrible. They can never get in my apartment to do any repairs because for some reason the key is missing and I have to get off early and bring my key for them to copy just to be told it will be another day before they can come in the apartment. My tub faucet has been leaking for 3 months now and I have literally called twice ever week to get them to come fix it. I just lost the pressure this morning. Well, here goes another unanswered call. I have bugs in my kitchen coming from the apartment next door. They are actually squeezing from under the wall. I recorded it on my phone. That did nothing. The socket in my laundry room is burnt and needs replacing but all they continue to come in and plug it up. Why would you plug a burnt and melted plug in a burnt socket' They are going to burn us out. I m a single mother with a 3year old son and I am raising my 11 year old sister, after the passing of our mother, and the conditions we are living in are ridicules. Maybe this letter to the better business bureau, the corp. office, and faxed to Ms. Shaffer will do some good.
