Mediocre complex benefitting from being in a great area

Let me just make it simple.

Pros:
1. Great area. Everything's about 5 min away from the complex.

2. Office staff seems very polite. But sometimes there's a difference between being polite and nice.

3. Much safer and cleaner than a lot of close by apartments on Roswell Rd.

4. They now have a trash pick up service three times a week. I'm sure it's all hidden in rental fee.

5. A while ago, they got rid of a maintenance crew that was very friendly and great. The replacements are almost as good.

Cons:

1. Not as nearly as nice as apartments on Peachtree Dunwoody. But still insisting on charging similar rents. I have a few friends living in those apartments and there's no comparison. This place is much older, not as well built as those and not as nice looking.

2. On weekends, trash gets piled up in front of the compactor. Very embarassing.

3. Not a good layout. It looks like somebody didn't really think through too hard when they built it. They just slapped some ideas together and went with them. Two different gates for left and right sides that creates traffic jam, no tennis court.

4. Resident cop who doesn't do anything. He goes around telling people to pick up trash while cars are being broken into. A few months ago there was a series of car break-ins for about a week or so. From what I heard from a neighbor who got his car broken into, the office told him that there were like 3 break-ins within 30 minutes of his car being broken into on that same day. But they basically told him that it's not their responsibility!!! What'
They advertise a cop living here as a very positive thing! He's pretty useless if you ask me.

5. No place to park at all.

So basically, this is a mediocre apartment complex that happens to be in a great great area that is Sandy Springs/Dunwoody. Your friends wouldn't exactly be impressive that you live here. You can pay just a little more and live in apartments that will definitely impress your friends just down the road. Believe me, I have friends who live just down the road.
