I agree with everything the previous reviewer said. The staff is rude, and the place is falling apart. When the pipes leak onto your car in the parking lot, all they do is offer to pay for your car wash. There is dog poop everywhere, and maintenance does not clean it up. THe hallways flood and smell like mildew and nothing is done. The pool is too small and is always in the shade. There's no place to lay out. The business center is only open during office hours and the staff always hurries you out even before office hours end. There is a lot of crime, yet mgmt hasn't made any noticeable adjustments in security but rather takes the "it's no my fault approach." They'll tell you they're not responsible for crime, but Georgia law is very clear that property owners have a duty to take reasonable steps to prevent crime and warn occupants of risk of crime. It is a huge crime risk that they let all of these unscreened workers from surrounding businesses park in our deck. Half the time the card access to the building from teh deck is broken and you just have to pull open the door. ANYBODY could get in to the building. Residents undergo a background check, but there is no check done for the random people Sterling is so eager to have park in our lot. Clearly, overcharging, profiteering, and cutting corners is the first order of business there.
Sterling's mgmt is defensive and rude. They clearly go on this website and try to post favorable reviews - be cautious of the glowing reports on here because I seriously doubt they're from real residents. The windows leak and nothing is done to fix them. The paint around one of my windows is molded and peeling away from the moisture and i've reported the problem to no avail. The carpet is cheap with nails rising through the floor. From others who've moved I've heard getting a deposit back is almost impossible. ALso, the elevators are a nightmare. I've gotten stuck and yelled for help, but the residents who heard me couldn't get hte doors open. Thank god I had my cell phone to call maintenance. They may you park on level 2, but there is no stair access on level 2, so when the elevators are out you're SOL. mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH
