Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
This is the very best apartment I've ever lived in. My lease in up at the end of July and if the apt was closer to work, I would stay. These apartments are NEW (only 1 year old) and the landscaping and maintenance staff are wonderful. Here are my pros and cons:
Pros-
1. If you take advantage of the pool area, it is fabulous. It's always very clean and there is plenty of seating. It is also surprisingly not very crowded on the weekends, except for holidays (Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July). There is a 'tiki' bar with a refrigerator, ice machine, and two gas grills for you to use as well.
2. The management team has always been very flexible with me and my 2 roommates. We have a 5 day grace period for turning in rent and have ALWAYS received notices of when the maintanence staff has needed to enter our apartment.
3. We have a GA State Patrolman who lives and works in our complex for security. He leaves his car at the front of the complex for added security. He is very nice and responds to loud guests whenever necessary (as far as I've seen).
4. We have a 24 hr. Cyber Cafe' with cappuccino/coffee machines, a large flat screen tv with sofas and a dvd player. There are also two new computers with access to fax machines and printers.
5. The patios are HUGE!
6. The appliances in our apt are very nice...all black with cherry wood cabinets and dark countertops.
Cons-
1. Parking is only a problem if you live in one of the front buildings.
2. The workout room is nice and state-of-the-art, but it is small.
3. We have bugs in our apt during the summer, but I think it's only because we are on the ground level, we have friends above us who don't have the same problem.
Other than that, this apartment is amazing!!! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new apartment. This community did just get bought out by Gables, so I don't know how the new management will be over time. They have been in charge of the community for the past 2 weeks, and so far, nothing has changed. I hope this review helps!
