Can do better

I have lived here for about a year and have mixed feelings. It can often be noisy and the parking is just plain bad if you live around the pool area. But that is due to the design of the complex and probably cannot be changed.
The office staff seems nice and I have never had a huge problem with them. They seem to have new people working all the time and you can never get to know any one of them. There was only one issue with the staff messing up paperwork in the begining but was rather easy to fix. Their system computer messes up frequently and will deactivate my name from the call box and my resident card pass. So I must get the office to reset their system so fix the problem.
The workout room is a joke. Very little equipment and a very tiny area. People hog the equipment for longer than their allowed time and will also control the tv's and stay after their workout to finish watching their show much to the annoyance of others.
The computers and printers are always broken and residents will also hog these machines. The big screen tv is nice but I rarely had a chance to use it.
The pool area is fantastic. The covered bar area is great and the bathrooms seem to be always clean. Lots of young and attractive people in the summer. Great area for a cookout.
The walking trail by the river is nasty. It is always muddy and needs to be better kept. The other cookout areas in the complex seem nice though.
They need another car wash because it is always taken up.
Parking late at night is impossible.
My apartment was pretty nice. No real complaints other than some bug problems (ants coming in after a lot of rain forced them above ground). All service requests were handled in a timely manner by very nice workers.
The biggest problem is the closing off of everyone's patios due to construction. There was a design flaw that needed to be fixed and they screwed everyone's doors shut. The office has handled this very poorly by not giving any timeline for the end of construction and only reducing rent by at most a week's worth. This was very unacceptable.
Overall, I have enjoyed my time here. You get to meet a lot of young people, the residents are nice, and the apartment is nice. But I do think that you can do much better for the price. Outside of the apartment, the only other thing that holds any merit is the pool area. And plenty of other places have nice pools. I would recommend living somewhere else, as the value just doesnt add up to the price.
