The worst Community. Zero Parking, Unpolite/unhelpful staff!

Before Gables took over, the place is not so bad. Polite and helpful staff deal with problems immediately. However, the nightmare began once Gables took over.
1. Not enough parking. You have to walk 20 minute back to your apartment after you parked your car somewhere far and far away from where you live. It is not pleasant during winter time. Then Gables implemented the most ridiculous parking rule by allowing car with resident permits to park without enforcing the parking policy within the community. So basically you still have to walk a long way back to your apartment.
2. Impolite, unfriendly, unhelpful, pretended-to-care and superficial staff. The community staff changes 3 times within 2 months and you almost certainly see a new face everytime you walk in the leasing office. The staff there (one asian, one --------american and one blonde as of January 2006) don't care about the tenants'
problem. I asked them to update my phone number on the gated entrance during August 2005 but my friends still can't find me on the list. One of my roomates haven't had his name on the list since he was here. Once you need the renew your contract then they will jack up the price and wish you to move out so they can make more money out of the moving-in tenants. I totally agree with the other person's opinion on the working hours of the staff. It basiacally depends on the mood of the staff and there is a good possibility that the staff will have her lunch in the locked leasing office watching you waiting outside in the rain. Everytime you tell the staff that there is a parking or noise problem, they will say that the courtey officer is on his way. But in fact, the Gables Staff pissed off the officer and he won't even care.
3. The screening process is getting worse every month. When I first moved in, there are few parties every week but the noise level is under control. Recently, you can hear people partying everyday late into the night and shaking all floors. There are even people playing very loud music in the morning.
If you don't mind walking 20min home during the snowy day, this is your place. If you think that you will never meet the staff or get help from them again after you move in, this is your place.

I totally agree with the screening process. There have been some major changes in the year that we've been here. We would have stayed another year, but the residents they are allowing in here now is awful. The parties and the people hanging outside the apartment buildings are unacceptable. Needless to say, we are not renewing our lease...
