Absolutely do not even consider renting at Stone Creek/Gables/Reserve. The managers working for this company are human filth. They sucker you in with smiles and handshakes, but they will eventually stab you in the back. Besides being an inferior and crime ridden dump to rent in a gang infested area, the managers will invent fake charges for "damages" when you move out. They will inform you by mail - completely cold - a month after you move out. We were charged $100 for shelving paper on kitchen shelves that was there before us. Lord knows how many tenants have passed through that apartment and been charged the same $100 - and the shelving paper never gets removed. We were charged $80 to replace a window blind that had one slat that had a partial crack in it. Again, a flaw that was there before we rented. We immediately protested and rejected this frivolous demand for almost $200 in invented "damages". We got no response back until 16 months later a collection agency slams our world with loud and obnoxious demands that we pay this noncollectable non-debt. The complex and company is run by scum sucking slim.

Our experience has been over the past 16 months - starting with Gables - but continuing with NALS. To us, it's all the same. NALS has only perpetrated the scams initiated by Gables.

Who sent the issue to collections? Was it Gables? Gables didn't even notify me of damages to my unit and just immediately sent it to collections. I just went ahead and paid the damages because it wasn't worth hurting my credit over.

That is why when you move in you need to write down everything that was there and broken on your move in notice and let the front office know.
