Needs Better Management!! From: danielle1001@aol.com Date posted: 5/24/2004 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004   I would have to agree with some of the other postings on this site. There are a couple of things that I really do enjoy about this place. I do think that this apartment is very affordable for the amount of space that is provided. It is in a central location and I do not have any problems with neighbors or thin walls. The apartments are very cozy and make you feel at home. HOWEVER, EVERYTHING ELSE COULD USE VAST IMPROVEMENTS! I do not know if things are getting better as a whole for this community because I have only been here for two months. But I do know that I should not have this many problems. I have never had a problem solved in a timely manner! It takes too long to get problems resolved. Most work orders here take at least 5 days before someone will get back to you. Even when I report an emergency repair, I am brushed off!!! I have had some little to very serious problems inside of my place. I consider myself a patient person, but I draw the line when it comes to my familys safety! It does not make any sense that I have been disappointed more than pleased. It is a hassle to deal with the people in the office. I have never gotten any definite answers on anything that I ask about, (including what day my apartment would be ready to move in). On top of their lack of knowledge, they can be very rude and unprofessional. There are some people in the office that are good, but unfortunately I have run into more of the bad ones. The straw that broke the camels back is that my fire extinguisher inside of my apartment expired 2 YEARS AGO!! That is completely inexcusable. I would advise that any other tenants who are reading this check their extinguishers. Not to mention if you have washer and dryer hook-ups you should make sure that your vents are clean. Because they probably aren't. (This can lead to some very dangerous problems if you do not check) I would have to rate this place as average for right now. If you can manage to stay away from needing to get anything repaired, you should be satisfied.
