Not worth it From: puffyou2003 Date posted: 1/6/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008 2 responses   I should've know this would be a nightmare before I moved in because they'd changed the apartment I was going to move into because some guy hadn't moved out of the unit I was suppose to get, and I got this crappy apartment. The carpet was stained and damaged. The door in the master bedroom has some crap patch job on it. I knew the apartment had flooded because there's water damage all along the walls. The carpet doesn't even touch the wall by the window. The carpet was also crunchy and hard. There were dead bugs on the floor when I moved in and the lady in the office lied saying they've vacuumed, but the power hadn't even been turned on. The refrigerator and freezer was disgusting and had a gross smell which took months to get rid of. Everything is old the dishwasher was coming out the wall. Poorly insulated it's freezing in the apartment all the time. It flooded, as in water came in under the door and if I hadn't been at home it would've gotten everywhere(and I'm suppose to believe that there was someone living here before me and never had a flood problem) ROACH infestation to the max, I used tons of raid and eventually had to bomb my apartment like 4 times to get them all out. And last but not least the hot water problem. If you like taking hot showers, I don't recommend you stay in building 6 or my apartment 3046. During the summer the hot water went out EVERY saturday for about 3 months. It was a freaking nightmare especially when you have family over. And it just went out recently and uhhh what's the point of emergency maintenance number if you can't get intouch with them. It's winter and we had no hotwater for an entire day. But hey that's just my story, to sum it up it's totally not worth it. Freaking 2 bed apartment and no washer/dryer connection. Go somewhere else...
