More like Stone Ridge of the Projects....They give Vinings a BAD REP.

I have lived here since December first problem,I didn't get a mail box key until Feb., luckly I knew the mailman and he was kind enough to give me my mail, esp since the leasing office told me that it was the post offices fault,why I didn't get a key yet, my main bathroom had a leaking shower and they needed to order a part, cool..but it took them 5 request and a threat to withhold my rent for them to even come and fix it, that was 2 months later.the heat only worked in certain parts of the apartment and then when I called the leasing office to complain, I was told to move the vents in a different direction, since I didn't have a mailbox key, I got my mail but after a while, the postmaster had to hold it at the office...therefore I didn't get a water bill for a month a boy when I got it....WOW you would think I lived in a 7 bedroom house 170.00 are you serious' And here comes the letter that says I have to pay my water bill or my rent won't be accepted...Fine, I owe it, I will pay...well I paid my rent on the 1st and Heartland (rip off water company, we are paying for gas, but the apartment is all electric) well the leasing office doesn't turn my water bill in until 3 weeks later and of course I have a late fee, bc the leasing office sent it in on their own good time..35.00 late fee, when I talk to the water company they say, don't pay the leasing office, you need to pay us...What' Can we all get on the same page here' Didn't I just get a red notice in the mail saying that my rent won't be accepted if I didn't pay my water bill with the rent' Mainetence..what are you for real, they just ride around in their golf carts, smoking cigs and playing on their phones, after 7 phone calls and 3 work orders they decided that 4 days later was a good time to come and fix my freezer door on my refridgerator..yes the door, it just fell off like BAM straight on the floor we had to hold it up with tape.then when they came to fix it, they stayed for 3 mins and lost a screw and had to come back and do it a second, they were to busy watching my sister in her robe, to realize they brought the wrong color..yes ivory and white are 2 different colors, when I turned on the dish washer my kitchen was flooded with bubbles, they sd just let it run..Wow,..I still have a leak in my ceiling and I get the pleasure of seeing a small water fall everytime it rains..I asked the leasing office to send someone out here after hours..HA..the next day they see me walking and the worker says.."We were goin to come and fix your ceiling but you weren't home...ARE you SERIOUS, since when do you have to be home for a work order to be fulfilled,in my guest bathroom my children got in the shower and the tub part ran to,don't ask how long that work order took..there has been 3 sets of agents since Dec, they are very unprofessional,very RUDE, very LAZY,the apartment complex is open when they feel like it and they close when they want to..it really doesn't matter, because they don't answer the phone anyway..I called today 13 times on redial, when someone finally answered, I said are you closed they said no, why' I asked why I have called 13 times and on the 13th ring, you guys answer, she said oh..and then how can I help you.... Now for the worse problem, its 100 outside, I have no air for a week, I started calling last friday, today is the 9th, and noone has even attempted to FIX anything, my whole air condtioner unit is missing, I took picture... I have called all week about 30 times...no answer, and noone answers the pages..when I told the agent that the unit was gone, she said are you serious' Huh' Its 98 outside and 150 in the house, of course they don't know the unit is gone because they sit on their butts all day SUCKING up all the air when residents and I quote from her, "Ma'am we will get to you as soon as possible"...I asked honestly how many people had work orders she sd honestly, a lot...no sympathy, no concern, just that they will get to me when they can...tomorrow will be day 8 without any air...and no idea at all when it will be fixed, and I am not the only one...its a lot of us...just drive into the complex you will see as others have sd you get what you pay for and its not much...if you think you are getting something great because its VININGS, think again...its the Vinings alright...if you don't mind living in the SLUMS of Vinings, not Stone Ridge

i've contacted a lawyer and am going to meet soon to go over details b/c i think there is a class action lawsuit here regarding the overbilling and violation of the lease on utility fees.

I completely feel you on this whole craziness at this apartment complex! I actually placed a call to Fox 5's Action News team. I spoke with a person named Leslie and at the time I talked to her, nothing was wrong at my apartment so there wasn't much she can do. But it sounds like you have more then 1 reason to call them. They will pretty much call/harrass whatever you want until things get done. The phone number is 404-879-4583. I suggest you call as soon as possible! Maybe bringing some media attention to this complex will do something, I hope!

Try having no heat in the winter, and now, no air for the summer; I put in a request three months ago to have my air conditioner fixed; no response. I have sent endless e-mails to the Conner Group, the owners, don't bother with property management, just bug the hell out of the Conner Group which is what I'm planning on doing. They are crooks. If there is a class action lawsuit, I want to be included, I'll be glad to testify. Let me know, I can be reached at mclarkpr1@aol.com
