I have mixed feelings about the Summer Terrace of Buckhead. It's a beautiful complex, centrally located, that's not enormous like many of the Post properties in this city. The apartment layouts are ideal, with big bedrooms, walk-in closets and full bathrooms. It has most of the amenities you'd expect, and many nice touches that you don?t usually find in rentals (crown molding, etc.). The pool and fitness center are a bit on the small size, but neither are overly crowded. There's a car care center on the premises, which is a great place to wash your car. Management is courteous and helpful. So what's not to like you may ask'' Well, in a nutshell...it's the people who live here. I haven't found it to be the friendliest place in the world. Most people keep to themselves, and even a quick 'hello' to a neighbor will usually go unacknowledged. The mix of people is varied: there are many 'frat boy' and 'sorority girl' types here, and they can be loud and obnoxious at times. There are several married couples here as well, and even some families with children. The bottom line concerning the Summer Terrace' It's a beautiful complex, with lots of amenities?but if making friends is important to you, it may be best to look elsewhere.
