Management has let this place become the worst

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2004
When I moved into the Tempo Parkway apartments 4 years ago, there was a waiting list to get in, and there was a 4-5 month waiting list for a current resident to get a one bedroom apt. I took a two bedroom at that time, thinking that I would move to a one bedroom when one came available.
There was a Property Manager change about 2 1/2 years ago, and the new manager will rent to anyone who breaths. There are currently over 8 two bedroom apartments available; 7 of the 16 one bedroom apartments are available. The quality of life has gone downhill with the gang banger want-a-be's doing drive-by shootings of cars, the illegal's who can't afford furniture for their apartments and think nothing throwing trash everywhere. The new manager, Rosie, seems to be able to only rent to young illegal's with young kids who are unsupervised and steal other residence's property, pull up the flowers and landscaping, and who can't follow the apartment complex's rules and regulations. When Rosie learns of a problem, her only solution is to "write them a letter."
Now she has started to discriminate against the long term tenants by charging them $790.00 per month, but the new tenants are paying $560.00 (a new special!) for a two bedroom. She justifys it by saying she can use a "special" rent rate to get the people to move in.
So in a short two year period, the complex has gone from a waiting list to live here, to having to give a $230.00 a month discount for a whole year just to get people to move in. The question is, what will they pay after they live here for a year'
Rosie is more concerned about the curb appeal of the complex than whether the grass grows where the tenants live. She spent hundreds of dollars to replant the landscape on the corner, but will not trim the trees so the grass can grow in the courtyards where the tenants spend most of their time.
The parking problem has gotten so bad that some residents have gone to their doctors to get clearance so that they can place a handicap parking sign up so that they can have a place to park.
Overall, this place is not a place to move into. If you are paying more than $400.00 a month, then you are paying too much.
